Project for: Patients (people with health conditions) or Caregivers

Dear CareRing Community,

I'm reaching out to you to share some information about Global Patient Week 2026, which will take place between October 12-15. Global Patient Week is a four-day event that brings together cross-functional teams across the drug development value chain to explore how patient engagement can drive better scientific, regulatory, and access outcomes, and to equip every employee with practical ways to embed patient experiences into their work. 

This year's theme follows the full patient journey, from early symptoms and diagnosis through treatment and long-term management. We'll also be exploring where friction shows up for patients at every stage and what we, as an organisation, can do about it. 

As people living with health conditions yourselves or as caregivers and navigating health systems, you bring a perspective that no case study or external presentation can replicate. Each of you understands what it feels like to sit on both sides of the work we do.

We're looking for CareRing members who would be willing to participate in GPW 2026 in a capacity that feels right for you. This can look like:

• Sharing your experience as a speaker or panellist during one of the daily sessions

• Joining a fireside chat or patient perspective segment

• Contributing a short recorded story or written reflection

• Advising on content to help us get the patient experience and journey right

There is absolutely no pressure, and no specific format you need to commit to right now. Please reach out to us directly if you're interested or have questions. We are happy to set up a quick call to talk it through.
