Patient Perspective segment (30min) of the Leadership Summit hosted by Genentech Women Professionals (GWP) and the Inclusion and Belonging Office (IBO)

Dear SSF members of CareRing,

Event: March 25, live, in-person, employee-only event on the SSF campus

Summit theme: Your Story, Our Momentum: At Genentech, leadership is shaped by purpose, driven by progress, and expanded by possibility. This summit brings together leaders at all stages to explore how individual journeys connect to collective momentum in a science- and data-driven organization. Through insights from Genentech experts and external voices on leadership and AI, we examine how human leadership and cutting-edge innovation together advance our science — and our impact for patients.

[Our kind ask to the CareRing community] Patient Segment: On stage, a dialogue among 3 Genentech and Roche colleagues.
  • One colleague shares their patient experience: CareRing patient (or person living with a condition).
  • One colleague shares their experience as a physician in the same Disease area
  • One colleague shares their experience in Government Affairs, maintaining access for patients
All 3 colleagues provide their perspective on why they work at Roche and Genentech, how their experiences shape their motivation and purpose to deliver for patients.

Seeking a member of the CareRing community who is willing to share their experiences as a patient, navigating health care, to an audience of approximately 300 employees. To align with the experiences of the physician and Government Affairs panellists, we're seeking someone with experience with Breast Cancer, Hemophilia or Lupus.

The outcome is for the audience (Genentech and Roche employees) to understand a multi-pronged perspective of serving patients.

To prepare for the event:
A CareRing member will participate in a 1hr prep meeting with the other panelists and will join a rehearsal on Mar 24. The rehearsal would be 1-2 hr commitment.

Thank you so very much in advance for your contribution!
